This trailer was shot backstage and front of house during the filming of the pilot to Stand-Up Of The Week. The brief was to create a trailer that captured the intimate nature of the tv show’s format, reveal who was in the line-up and that the material was current and fresh. Shot by Lynda Hall & Leon Willis using two Cannon5D cameras. Produced by Jamie Davis at 4Creative.

I was asked to make a trailer for the program but it wasn’t made yet. Inspired by a scene from the rushes where a boy draws the van that takes him to the Detention Centre, I developed an animated trailer. Animator Will Barros and his team at Th1ng executed the animation to create a naive style that juxtaposes the dark truth behind how Asylum kids are treated in the UK.

The challenge was to make a trailer promoting this episode of Dispatches without having any material from the program. Working with GFX artist Roisin at OblongTV, I created the dashboard graphics to illustrate the carious issues the program examined. The sequence was then edited to Fear Factory’s cover of Gary Numan’s “Cars”.
